Texas Tech Music Students Compete for the Chance to Play at Carnegie Hall

The Texas Tech University School of Music and Manhattan Concert Productions are presenting a Final’s Competition Concert today featuring eight student musicians.

These eight finalists have been selected from a group of 500 other Texas Tech music students, and represent the major performance areas of the university’s school of music.

The concert begins tonight at 7:30 pm in Talkington Hall at the Legacy Event Center on 14^th and Avenue O.

Winners of the competition will receive an all expense paid trip to New York to perform in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall.
