A Lubbock kennel owner who stirred considerable controversy after being videotaped spraying Raid insect killer on his dogs has sold the property and given up most of the animals he was keeping. Nicole Chagolla says she bought the property from the kennel owner, a neighbor who goes by the name of Mr. Li. The property located on County Road 7250 had cinder block kennels with about 70 dogs. A local rescue group took over many of the dogs and others were placed in homes. The Lubbock County District Attorney’s office has been investigating the case.
