The U.S. Supreme Court will not hear an appeal from a Lubbock man serving a 40-year prison sentence for kidnapping three children. That word came Friday in local court records. Kenneth Wilcox was convicted of taking the children to Oklahoma in May 2009 after telling the parents they were going to Six Flags in Arlington. Wilcox claimed he had permission to take the youngsters. The parents did not know he was taking them out of state.
