Lubbock police arrested a man sought at Odessa in connection with the murder of a prominent Odessa couple. Twenty-seven-year-old James Doyle Burwell was located and taken into custody yesterday at a Lubbock motel. He had been charged at Odessa in the deaths of Odessa business leaders Dick and Peggy Glover. Workers remodeling the Glover home discovered the couple dead around 8:45 a.m. yesterday. The Odessa American reported that the Glovers had been stabbed to death. Within two hours a pearl-colored 2007 Lincoln Navigator that was missing from the house was traced by On-Star to Lubbock. Police arrested Burwell without a struggle at 10:54 a.m. at the Howard Johnson Motel on Avenue Q. Burwell was transported to Odessa later yesterday.
