Texas Tech’s baseball team has been rated the number seven seed at this week’s Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships at in Oklahoma City. The Red Raiders clinched their spot in the tournament after yesterday’s 5 to 3 victory over Oklahoma State at Dan Law Field. That gave Tech the series win over the Cowboys. The Raiders will play their first game of the tournament against number two seed Texas A&M on Wednesday, the first pitch going at 4 p.m. Tech beat the Aggies in a series opener this season in Lubbock but A&M bounced back to win the next two games and claim the series. The Big 12 championships are a double-elimination affair. The championship game Sunday will be televised nationally on FSN.
