Texas Tech and Coca-Cola Renew Multi-Million Dollar Contract

Texas Tech and Coca Cola have extended their contract, which also provides for student scholarships.

The value of the contract is $17.7 million over the next decade, around $11.5 million more than the past agreement.

With the new contract, Coca-Cola reaffirmed its commitment to academics with $150,000 in scholarships annually. Coca-Cola has had a campus presence at Texas Tech since 1925.

Tech Chancellor Kent Hance said that “Not only does this contract offer an exceptional value for our component institutions, but also provides scholarships for future generations to achieve their goals in higher education.”
