Frullo: Legislature Needs To Make Adjustments, No Matter How Difficult

On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, state rep. John Frullo was asked about the legislature dipping into the rainy day fund.

“We’re using $3.2 billion out of that rainy day fund,” Frullo said.  “What I don’t want to do is get in a situation where going forward we are tapping that rainy day fund instead of making the adjustments that we have to do matter how hard those adjustments are.”

Frullo said the legislature needs to put a system in place where the legislature isn’t spending more than it’s making.
