Two Dead Following Motorcycle Wreck Early Monday Morning

Two people are reported dead after an early morning motorcycle crash in Lubbock.

Police said the victims, 29-year-old driver Jacob Rivera, and 25-year-old Shae Reed were riding the bike at a high rate of speed when it went out of control at Quaker Avenue and4thStreet.

They hit a pole near the entrance to the Rawls Golf Course around 2:45 a.m. Monday.

Both were wearing helmets at the time of the wreck.
