Gov. Rick Perry has appointed four members, including one woman from Lubbock, to the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board.
Donna L. Walz of Lubbock, who is a retiree, is being reappointed to a term that will expire Jan. 31st 2013.
The three other members appointed by the governor are licensed real estate brokers and appraisers Walker Bear of El Paso and Jamie Wickliffe of Midlothian, and certified tax assessor and collector and Chief Deputy of Operations at the Galveston County Tax Office Sheryl Swift.
The board’s purpose is to adopt rules for the licensing and certification of real estate appraisers in the state.
