Major Wildfire in Garza County Extinguished, Authorities Believe Fire Intentionally Set

After three days the major wildfire in Garza County has been extinguished.

Firefighters put out the last remnants of the fire during the early morning hours of today.

The Texas Forest Service estimates 50,000 acres have been burned and they think the fire was intentionally set.

The Garza County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Rangers and Texas Forest Service are conducting an investigation.
