Tech Women’s Relay Team Sets New School Mark In Texas Relays

Texas Tech’s women’s 800 meter relay team has set a new school record in opening competition at the Texas Relays in Austin.  The team of Devin Bailey, Shannon Jackson, Caroline Jepleting and Kearci Jobe ran the distance in eight minutes 41 and 61 hundredths seconds yesterday, breaking the old school record by more than ten seconds.  The mark was set as the team placed second behind LSU.
