KMAC 28 is reporting that a man originally charged with attempted capitol murder has pled guilty to a lesser charge.
21 year old Christopher Arredondo and his accomplice Matthew Gonzales were arrested in 2008 for their involvement in a car burglary that led to the shooting of the owner.
Gonzales was sentenced to 70 years in prison for shooting Felipe Acevedo in the head.
Arredondo plead guilty to the lesser charge of aggravated robbery.
He will spend 10 years in prison.
Acevedo’s injuries were not terminal, and he has made a full recovery.
