Very Dry Air Elevates Fire Risks On The South Plains

The risks of wildfires are up a bit once again around the South Plains. The National Weather Service says the movement of very dry air into the region, combined with temperatures in the mid-80s, will bring elevated fire weather conditions. Winds of 10 to 15 miles an hour will make for marginal fire weather conditions most of the afternoon.
