Lady Raiders Beat Top-Ranked Baylor, Now Face Fifth-Ranked A&M

Texas Tech’s Lady Raiders are riding high this week. Fresh from knocking off top-ranked Baylor, they have another opportunity tomorrow to really improve their NCAA bid chances. The Lady Raiders made a giant stride Saturday by beating Baylor 56 to 45 at United Spirit Arena.  Tomorrow they face  5th-ranked Texas A&M on the Aggies’ home court.  A&M sits second in the Big 12 standings behind top-ranked Baylor. Tech is in a three-way tie for 5th place in the conference with Iowa State and Texas. The Tech men also beat Baylor Saturday, at Waco, 78 to 69. That snapped a four-game losing streak for the Red Raiders, and it was the first Tech victory I Waco since 2005. The Red Raiders host Colorado Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at United Spirit Arena.
