Tech Falls To Missouri, Lady Raiders Play 20th-Ranked Iowa State Tonight

Texas Tech’s Red Raiders held tough against 20th-ranked Missouri much of the way last night before falling 92 to 84 in a Big 12 Conference game at Columbia. The Tigers led 45-44 at halftime. Missouri was up only 63 to 60 six minutes into the second half but then a 14 to 4 run over a four-minute period put the Raiders in a deep hole. A John Roberson 3-pointer actually brought Texas Tech to within three points with just over a minute to play, but the Red Raiders couldn’t get any closer. Tech is now 3 and 8 in conference play and 11 and 15 for the season. The Lady Raiders are at home tonight playing 20th-ranked Iowa State at United Spirit Arena. Texas Tech is 17 and 7 overall this season and 4 and 6 in the Big 12 after snapping a six-game losing streak Saturday at Colorado. Iowa State has a 17 and 5 record and is 5 and 5 in the Big 12. Tip-off time at United Spirit Arena is at 7 p.m.
