County Workers Recognized by Commissioners’ Court for Years of Service

Over 150 employees were recognized this week in a ceremony that county commissioners say this is to thank employees for their loyalty to the county, and doubles as a way to keep turnover rates low.

Judge Tom Head explains that since the county has begun these ceremonies, coupled with pay raises, the turnover rate has improved from an average of five years of service to over ten years of service by county workers.
