Winter Weather Not Over Yet for Region

The frigid and slippery winter weather which has been experienced by the area may not be over just yet. Wintry precipitation and arctic air are expected to move through the region tomorrow evening through early Thursday.

The highest probabilities for snow accumulations are across the southern Panhandle, northern South Plains and northern Rolling Plains regions, where 1 to 3 inches are possible. Temperatures may drop as low as ten degrees below zero after wind chill in some areas.

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Parmer, Castro, Briscoe, and Motley Counties and areas extending into the Panhandle region.

As winter weather develops, KFYO and Ron Roberts weather updates will keep you updated.
