Lubbock Police Arrest One in Sunday Morning Robbery, Still Searching for Two Others

Lubbock police are searching for two people suspected of breaking into a home and assaulting the resident. 17-year-old Kybren Jerrod Williams of Brownfield was arrested by police following the incident which occurred around 3:45 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of 49th Street.

Three men reportedly knocked on the victim’s door and asked to use his phone. When the resident refused, the trio pushed into the residence, and one assaulted the victim, who managed to escape out of the home to a nearby fire station, where he called police.

Williams was found to be in possession of some of the stolen items and a loaded handgun, and has been charged with aggravated robbery, theft, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and organized crime.

Lubbock police are searching for the other two black males involved in the robbery.

Williams is being held in the Lubbock County Jail in lieu of just under 12 thousand dollars bond.
