Weather Contriubtes to Low Voter Turnout in New Mexico

Bad weather resulted in a low voter turnout for school board elections in some New Mexico Counties.

Curry County saw only a five percent turnout as voters in Clovis approved a two-million dollar levy by more than two to one.

In Roosevelt, less than five percent of voters turned out, with voters in Portales approving two-million dollars in levies to pay for maintenance and remodeling.
