Neugebauer Undecided On Raising Debt Ceiling

Congress will soon be voting on whether or not to raise the debt ceiling.  On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO this week, Congressman Randy Neugebauer said he had not decided which way to vote. 

“I think it depends on exactly what that vote looks like,” Neugebauer said.  “[If it’s]  just a clean, clear raise the debt ceiling with no attachments to make sure we’re addressing that problem long term, I would not vote for that.”

Neugebauer said Congress needs to make changes  in the system that would make it easier to reduce spending.
