Neugebauer on Repeal of Obamacare: ‘Not Going to Happen’

“Not going to happen.”

That’s Congressman Randy Neugebauer on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, responding to a question about the possibility of the health care legislation that became law about a year ago being repealed while Barack Obama is president.

Even if both the House and Senate vote to repeal Obamacare, Neugebauer expects President Obama to veto the repeal legislation.

“Any time you get legislation on the books it gets harder and harder both politically and mechanically to take that legislation off the books,” Neugebauer told KFYO.

Neugebauer said that in situations like this, control of the White House becomes a key issue.
