Martin: We Have Security Measures, But I’m Not Going To Tell You What They Are

In the aftermath of a recent shooting at a school board meeting in Florida, school boards and city councils are asking “Do we have enough security?”

KFYO asked Mayor Tom Martin about security at city hall.

“We do have security measures, and for obvious reasons I’m not going to sit here and tell you what they are,” Martin told KFYO.

There is no screening station at the entrance at city hall, but the mayor pointed out that at council meetings, the council is not alone.

“We do have officers there,” Martin said.  “The police chief and several of his people are there at every meeting anyway.”

The mayor, who is a former police chief, said he keeps an eye on people at city hall.
