TTU Names New Petroleum Engineering Department Chair:

Texas Tech University officials today named a new Petroleum Engineering Department Chairman.

Mohamed Y. Soliman takes over his new position on January 10th.  Soliman has an impressive list of credentials, including, a bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Cairo University; master’s and Ph.D. degrees in petroleum engineering from Stanford; 17 patents on fracturing operations and an author of over 150 technical papers in the fracturing field.
