Police arrest armed man trying to force into ex-girlfriend’s apartment

Lubbock police last night arrested an armed man who tried to force his way into the apartment of an ex-girlfriend. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. at  the Town Plaza Apartments on 50^th Street. After the man failed to get into the woman’s apartment, he fled to a backyard where he was located by a canine unit. He came out and was taken into custody.
