If you still haven’t gotten your flu shot this year, the City of Lubbock Health Department says there are still some available.
7 cases of type A flu have been reported this week, the first time more than two have been reported in a week all season.
A vaccine costs $20, and Medicaid and Medicare are accepted.
Anyone ages 6 months and older are recommended to get their flu vaccine, especially if you have health conditions that qualify you as a high risk person.
The Lubbock Health Department is located at 1902 Texas Avenue.
