Woman Charged With Year-Old Murder Arrives Back in Lubbock Tonight

A woman charged with murder will arrive in Lubbock this evening. 60-year-old Carol Nussbaum will be taken to the Lubbock County Detention Center tonight, after being charged with the murder of 48-year-old Paul Brown.

Brown was found dead of blunt force trauma to the head in his pickup at the Boulders of Lakeridge Apartments near 82nd Street and Quaker Avenue in November of 2009. When authorities went to arrest Nussbaum at her home in Stephenville, she was found unconscious and was taken to an area hospital on December 1st.
