Train hits 18-wheeler, injuring driver and engineer

A train hit an 18-wheeler crossing the tracks in Garza County yesterday morning. The driver of the truck and the train engineer were taken to Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder. The accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 84 and Farm to Market Road 1269. DPS said a three-mile portion of the Farm to Market Road was closed Sunday evening from U.S. 84 south to Fluvanna.
