Arson suspect arrested in Thanksgiving Day fires

Lubbock police have arrested one suspect and are seeking another believed responsible for a series of fires set off on Thanksgiving Day. Samuel Lee Bendeck faces five counts of 2nd degree felony arson charges. The fires were set in sheds and fences in the Melanie Park area. Police have not identified the second suspect sought in the case.
