A 19 year-old Midlander is dead after a Thanksgiving morning attempted home invasion.
The Midland Reporter-Telegram reports that Gabriel Escontrias Jr. was pronounced dead Thursday morning at Midland Memorial Hospital after he was stabbed by the dwellers in the apartment he tried to invade.
Police reports state that Escontrias forced his way into a unit at the Park Glen Apartments around 2am, Thursday, where a struggle then ensued with the female occupant of the unit.
A male friend of the female occupant then came to her aid and stabbed Escontrias with a knife.
No charges have been against either of the survivors in the incident.
