Neugebauer Continues His Campaign Against “Biggest Tax Hike In American History”

With just over a month left in 2010, Congressman Randy Neugebauer writes in his weekly newsletter about the expiration of the Bush tax cuts that will take place as the year comes to an end, unless Congress extends the tax cuts. 

Neugebauer writes, “After the first week of the Lame Duck session, Speaker Pelosi’s Congress is no closer to preventing these job-killing tax hikes for every taxpayer. Letting the estate tax return to 55 percent, cutting the child tax credit in half and letting several other tax provisions expire is a tax increase our economy cannot handle.“ 

 Neugebauer said  that raising taxes during the worst economy in decades will kill even more jobs and lead to greater uncertainty for small businesses looking to expand.
