LCU teams win conference openers against Wayland Baptist

 Lubbock Christian University won a pair of conference basketball games against Wayland Baptist University last night at the Rip Griffin Center. The LCU men won 72 to 63. The LCU women won 81 to 71. The two schools were beginning their 22-game schedule of Sooner Athletic Conference competition.
