Texas Tech Football Bowl Eligible

After the Red Raiders 64-21 win over Weber State, they are now bowl eligible for the 18th consecutive season.

 

TEXAS TECH RELEASE

For the 18th consecutive year, the Red Raiders are bowl eligible and now have the chance to move up in the pecking order next week against Houston.  Texas Tech is 6-5 on the season and ran its Big 12 record of consecutive bowl eligible seasons to 18 with today’s 64-21 win over Weber State.  Only three teams have longer active bowl eligibility streaks than Texas Tech (Florida State leads the nation with 34 straight years while Florida is second with 30.  Ohio State is third with 22 and Texas Tech is tied with Virginia Tech with 18.)  Texas Tech faces Houston next Saturday night with a 7 p.m. kickoff on FSN (national broadcast).
