What Would Make Todd Klein Happy?

One thing councilman Todd Klein does not expect from the city’s homeless committee is an end to homelessness.

” We’re not going to resolve it overnight…we’re really never going to eradicate homelessness,” Klein said on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO.

So, if that’s not going to happen, what would Klein consider to be a successful conclusion to the committee’s work?

“The potential success we’re looking for…success would be progress in more effectively addressing this issue,” Klein said.

Does that mean a homeless shelter?

“A privately run transitional facility is what you hear from the community…absolutely no money needs to be expended by the public,” Klein said.
