Knight scolds seniors after OT loss to North Texas

Texas Tech’s Red Raiders lost in overtime to North Texas last  night at Denton. The 92 to 83 defeat left Coach Pat Knight displeased with the play of seniors Mike Singletary and John Roberson. He said the two fourth-year men have yet to play well. Knight said: “They’ve got to start playing like seniors and quit playing like freshmen. It’s that simple.” Tech played without forward D’Walyn Roberts. He injured his back during the team’s pre-game walk-through and did not suit up for the game.
