LISD statement about Coronado football Coach Henderson’s status

The LISD communications office of Nancy Sharp released this statement this morning: “Lubbock ISD can confirm media reports that Coronado Head Football Coach Butch Henderson will no longer be the head football coach/campus athletic coordinator. He will continue in his role as a math teacher for the 2011-12 school year. Coach Henderson has made many positive contributions to the lives of student athletes at Coronado High School. He is a dedicated and caring individual.”
