Neugebauer Pessimistic About Unemployment

The most recent unemployment numbers show the unemployment rate is still high, and in an interview on KFYO, Congressman Randy Neugebauer was not optimistic that the numbers will go down soon.

“We  saw some new jobs created, but the problem is we still have 9.6% unemployment because we’re not creating new jobs at a rate that we start to lower that number,” Neugebauer said.  ” Unfortunately, until we get the economy going, I think these unemployment numbers are going to stay around awhile.”

Neugebauer said it’s critical that Republicans make it part of their agenda to take steps that bring certainty to the economy.
