Tech’s Potts will start against Oklahoma in Saturday’s televised game

Texas Tech quarterback Taylor Potts has been designated to start against Oklahoma this Saturday after leading the Red Raiders to their 24 to 17 upset of 12th-ranked Missouri this past weekend. Potts did not start for the first time this season against Missouri, but he came off the bench to rejuvenate a Raider team that fell behind early 14 to 3. Tech Head Coach Tommy Tuberville attributed Saturday’s victory to strong performances by both the Red Raider offense and defense. Tuberville said, quote: “Finally things started clicking for us on both sides of the ball….We played defense and we ran the ball.”  The Big 12 announced yesterday that the upcoming game against Oklahoma has been scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday. That game is in Norman and will be regionally televised on ABC.
