Tech freshman soccer forward Fuston is Big 12 Rookie of the Year

Texas Tech freshman forward Jessica Fuston has been named the 2010 Big 12 Rookie of the Year in soccer. Fuston is the first Red Raider to win one of the Big 12 Conference’s top postseason awards. She and junior defender Whitney Sharpe were both selected All-Big 12 second team in voting by the league coaches.
