Neugebauer: GOP Can’t Repeal Obamacare As Long as Obama Is In The White House

It’s a big day in our country. ”

That’s Congressman Randy Neugebauer on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, talking about election day 2010.

Neugebauer is sticking by his previous prediction that the Republicans will have a net gain of 45-50 seats in the House, giving them control of the House, but he predicts the Democrats will keep control of the Senate.  Neugebauer was asked, if that prediction comes true, will the Republicans be able to repeal Obamacare?

“No, we would not be able to repeal it,” Neugebauer said.  ” What we may be able to do is to slow down the process, look at the funding mechanisms for all this.

Neugebauer said that as long as President Obama is in the White House, it will be difficult to override his veto.
