Prostitution ring suspects advertised on the internet

Two Lubbock residents have been arrested for trafficking a minor in prostitution. Midland police arrested 40 year old Jay Layone Lloyd and 19 year old Taquolia Tameek Thomas for trafficking in prostitution, as well as compelling prostitution by force. They remain behind bars in Midland in lieu of a 500,000 dollar bond. The Midland Reporter-Telegram said the arrests came as part of an undercover sting operation. Midland officers were quoted as saying the suspects used the internet to advertise prostitution services.
