Yesterday’s early votes outpace third-day voting in 2006

Early Voting in Lubbock County continues at a relatively high level for the November 2^nd General Election. Yesterday, 2,658  ballots were cast,  more than 30 percent greater than the third-day early voting of the general election four years ago when 2,009 early ballots were recorded. If you live within Lubbock County you can participate in Early Voting through 8 pm at the Texas Tech Rec Center and United Supermarket grocery stores within Lubbock, including 82^nd and Boston, 82^nd and Frankford and 2630 Parkway Drive.  Early Voting runs through October 29^th.
