Vote numbers up in yesterday’s early balloting

Lubbock County voters turned out in higher numbers yesterday to cast their early ballots in the November 2nd  election. A total of 3,403 people voted. That compares with 2,916 on Monday’s first day of early voting. The polls are now open again. Early votes can be cast until 8 this evening at any United Supermarket except the Market Street at 50th Street and Indiana Avenue, as well as at the City of Lubbock Municipal Building at 1625 13th Street, and the Texas Tech Rec Center at Hartford and Main.
