Vote numbers up in yesterday’s early balloting

Lubbock County voters turned out in higher numbers yesterday to cast their early ballots in the November 2^nd  election. A total of 3,403 people voted. That compares with 2,916 on Monday’s first day of early voting. The polls are now open again. Early votes can be cast until 8 this evening at any United Supermarket except the Market Street at 50^th Street and Indiana Avenue, as well as at the City of Lubbock Municipal Building at 1625 13^th Street, and the Texas Tech Rec Center at Hartford and Main.
