Red Raiders’ Taylor Potts gets national attention for his passing

Texas Tech quarterback Taylor Potts has been named AT&T’s All-American Player of the Week for his performance against Baylor last Saturday. Potts was nominated for the weekly award by ESPN and won fans’ vote to beat out such other star college quarterbacks as Ohio State’s Terrelle Pryor and Auburn’s Cam Newton. Potts passed for 462 yards and four touchdowns in the 45 to 38 win over Baylor –a record for passing yards in a game at the Cotton Bowl.
