Lubbock Man Sentenced to Six Months in Prison for Not Paying State Business Taxes

A Lubbock man will spend the next six months in prison for not paying his state business taxes.

Mike Wooten received his half-year sentence for Misprision of a Felony, a reduced charge from the original wire fraud charge, due to Wooten’s business mishandling of West Texas Lighting, which is now out of business.
