Texas Tech Announces the Opening of it’s Therapeutic Riding Facility

The newly expanded Texas Tech Therapeutic Riding, Teaching and Research Facility will be dedicated and opened tomorrow.

John Burns, dean of the college of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources will be in attendance, as well as members of the current program and their families.

The facility features an indoor riding area and classrooms that allow Tech to provide more hippotherapy and therapeutic riding sessions.

The event begins at 6 pm tomorrow at the Texas Tech Equestrian Center at 5712 County Road 1500.
