Lusk Campaigns For Lower Taxes, Reduced Budget, More Efficiency

 

Libertarian Nathan Lusk is a Lubbock native , running for county judge as a fiscal conservative. 

“A lot of people have asked me what was the inspiration to do it?,” Lusk told KFYO.  “I look them dead in the eyes and I say, ‘Because I have to pay taxes on my house too.’  And the county especially is taking in far more money than I think it really needs. 

So, what cuts would Lusk make at the courthouse?

“What cuts would I not make at the courthouse?” Lusk responded, without naming specific cuts.

Lusk says he is dedicated to lowering taxes, reducing the county budget and making the county more responsive and efficient.
