South Plains College to break ground for new dorm

South Plains College will break ground for a new student residence next Monday. A ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. that morning in the parking lot on J.V. Morton Drive, west of the Welding Technology building. The new hall should be ready by fall 2011 for students to move in at the start of the spring 2012 semester. The facility will have 104 beds to accommodate men and women in segregated areas.
