Last photos of Buddy before fatal flight are now available for viewing

The last known photographs of Buddy Holly are now on display in the Texas Musicians Hall of Fame at the Buddy Holly Center. The three eleven-by-fourteen inch pictures were taken by Mary Haukoos  Gerber on the evening of February 2^nd 1959 at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. Holly died in a plane crash a few hours later. The photographs are displayed alongside Buddy’s Bedroom exhibit at the center. The Buddy Holly Center’s hours are from10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 1 p.m. t 5 on Sunday.
