17 Lubbock ISD Students Named National Merit Commended Students

Seventeen Lubbock ISD students have been named National Merit Commended Students. The honor comes based upon their scores on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test.

These students are among the top five percent of the more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition. Coronado High School has five national merit commended students, twelve are Lubbock High School students, and Monterey High has one.
