Bailey County offender gets away from Big Spring state hospital

A man who had tried to kill himself in the Bailey County jail and was sent to the Big Spring state hospital for treatment has escaped the facility. Christopher Arreola had been jailed in Muleshoe on a drug possession charge. He managed to get away from the Big Spring hospital by sneaking past employees. KAMC-28 says Arreola may be going to Hobbs NM where a girlfriend lives.
